Our Volunteering Involvement with Hana Mission

History

Author: Yaocheng "Saraline" Xia

A few of our members have a long history volunteering at Hana Mission. During Christmas, we pack gifts and deliver them to Hana Mission ourselves. These gifts includes stationaries and toys for children, shampoos and bodywashes for adults, and candies and snacks for all ages.

We bring the entire Thanksgiving feast to the needing table of Hana Mission every year, too!

These events brought the CPR team together, in order to not only bond and grow as an organization, but also to serve and engage members of the community. Members of the team took away a positive experience that taught them that life can be very different for those who are less fortunate. The team is reinvigorated to have an even larger impact on the community moving forward.

Next up, the CPR team will be supporting International Peace Day on Wednesday, September 21st. The team is partnering with UNICEF in their March to end Violence and War. Be on the lookout to see how you can help out!
